Review on Pressman 2104 04 DVD Board Game by John Baker

When I picked it up for a dollar sale I didn't have high hopes for this game. But boy was I wrong! This has to be one of the best executed and thoughtful games I've ever played, Jack Bauer's voice acting was top notch, the cutscenes were just amazing and the gameplay was second to none. This game has obviously been in development for a long time and a lot of time has gone into testing and polishing the gameplay. I sat on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding for most of the game, the other part of me completely immersed in the excellent way they combined DVD controls with board game dynamics. I felt that a 5 star rating is not enough but unfortunately that is all that is allowed. In short, intuitive game controls, ingenious combination of two game environments, captivating story and voice acting. It's one of those games that you won't regret, your biggest problem will be tearing yourself away from it.
