I've used this for Form 1 muffler end caps and it seems to work as well as spitting. Follow directions through T, preheat oven to 250, allow to bake for about 15 minutes (to 1.5" diameter), allow to cool for a few hours and end cap will pop right out. I decided to preheat the muffler itself (not just the oven) to 250 and then bake for 12-13 minutes. I fired a few rounds and the silencer came off the cap leaving the cap on the barrel. Unless I missed something in the fine print. That does not work.
