- Pros -1) Great idea/concept 2) Oriental installation 3) Hollow shelf gives extra clearance for cables - Cons -1) Shelf moves off away from the wall every time something is placed on it (even very light objects) 2) Not perfectly flush with the wall - Overall - Overall I like this product idea. I bought it to hold a small Oontz speaker. Then I could take the speaker to other rooms too, and the charging cable would be tucked away in a hollow shelf, out of my kitty's reach. In practice, however, this product does not live up to expectations. The speaker weighs maybe half a pound? And even with such a small weight on the shelf, the top edge of the shelf begins to detach from the wall. I am returning it and will continue to look for a similar product that works better in use.
