Review on KRUPS BW260850 Cool-Touch Stainless Steel Double Wall Electric Kettle, 1.5L, 1.5 L Capacity, Black by Jim Acquista

In the last three years I have bought and used (daily) at least 6 kettles. Of all of them, this one broke in a very short time (just over 30 days). Only by closing the lid after filling one day did the lid come off. I don't think I was particularly rough on it, and I've never had that experience before. Even much cheaper kettles can withstand this design (most often the system that connects the kettle to the power supply base wears out over time, preventing it from making a proper connection). nice unit, but the lack of a working lid is kind of a deal breaker.
