Please note that this product does not look exactly like the product in the picture. The "gooseneck" in particular LOOKS like it's a hard, inflexible piece of plastic. In fact I sent back the first one I received thinking they sent me the wrong one. As it turns out, while it looks strong and inflexible (compared to the picture and compared to the previous holder I had), it actually looks flexible. In general the product works as described, closes and opens when you need to pick up or let go of the phone. Charging works great too. There are two reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars. First I want the gooseneck to be about 2 inches longer. My plugin sits just below the radio and climate control panel and I can't slide it far enough to the right that it doesn't block any of the buttons on the panel. The second reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that I couldn't fully tighten the connection between the gooseneck and the part that actually holds the phone. He moves a little more. This isn't really a problem as the phone stays where it should be in the mount, but I should be able to tighten it fully. Maybe if I put a paper gasket in the joint it will be fully tightened. Finally, remember that if your outlet goes out when you turn off your car, be sure to open the mount before you turn off your car, otherwise you won't be able to get your phone out.
