Just finished my first 3D setup. I bought a 120Hz stereoscopic 3D projector because I thought it would work with devices like my PS3 as it isn't based on the old "checkerboard" 3D DLP format. I was wrong. After trying everything I could think of (and I'm very tech savvy) I stumbled across this product. I decided to give it a try since I had already invested $800 in the installation; with the same success you could make a nice round grand piano out of it. And BAMM! 3D worked immediately. There are literally three steps to getting this working: 1. Connect a 3D source to the VP3D.2. Connect VP3D to the projector.3. Benefit! It is also nice that the box sends 1.3a frames to the projector via HDMI. HDMI 1.3a runs at the same clock speed as 1.4a so can carry full 1080p/24Hz and 720p/60Hz signals like 1.4a, but you can use older 1.3a cables you already have! The thing is still a bit pricey, but it was worth it for me as it fixed all my 3D problems instantly. If you're having trouble setting up 3D, this could be the answer to all your problems!
