I love API products but this doesn't work

I have never needed this product, but I encountered a situation where the water was cloudy and decided to try it. As I poured the product into the tank, it immediately became cloudy and eventually cleared. but only to the same transparency of the water before adding the product. I love API products but this is the first one that didn't work as intended.
