I don't know if it's a mold problem or something but when assembled the door doesn't close tightly and doesn't latch at the top. I have to fight the door to get her in the hole. When this happens it becomes a problem to open it again as the locking pin is so tight that the unlocking barely works. The top locking pin pierces the plastic. See image. Even if I can get him to come in, the slight rattle of the door will cause him to jump out and be a safety hazard for my dog if he can unlock the top but not the bottom and tries to push the unlocked top out, himself possibly injure or suffocate. I figured if the screws are in place maybe the top will snap so it snaps into place but no. Not to mention screws and wing nuts that are difficult to install. Incredibly disappointed.
