I carried my kayaks on my car in J-carry bags with no front or rear attachments. I've always felt guilty for not using the bow and stern mounts, but I couldn't find the right spot for the metal hooks on my tiny machine to connect it to the frame. Found these handy little things and boom. Easy to use and very easy to install. Exactly what I needed.
