Review on AKASO V1 WiFi Dash Cam: 1296P Full HD Camera with GPS, 16GB Memory Card, Phone App & Night Vision by Damon Mertz

All seeing works like magic.

Akaso V1 is a very compact device. But don't let its small size fool you. It is equipped with many functions and is very effective as a dash cam. The device comes with everything you need, including a camera, a microSD card, two different types of power cables, two different ways of mounting it in a car, clips to hide the power cable, etc. It can be attached to the windshield with a be Static Plastic Film. This method is great if you have a protective film in your vehicle or plan to move the V1 from car to car. On the other hand, you can mount it directly to your windshield with the included 3M tape mount. That's exactly what I did. I also used my own 128GB microSD card. Before inserting your or her own SD card, make sure to format it on your PC first and then reinsert it and format it on your V1 device. The camera starts recording as soon as you turn on the car and saves the recording to the SD card. Map. I found the daylight shot to be of very good quality, coping well with dynamic lighting. Night shots are good. All recordings are very stable. While the device has built-in GPS to record your specific location and speed, even when viewed normally, the files only show the GPS logo and no speed. You must view the files with your free GPS player to see dynamic location and your speed. Their player shows the video in a window, including the speed and the location on Google Maps in a parallel window. I'd rather have the speed (e.g. date and time) displayed in the live video along with the GPS coordinates like some of my other dash cams show.

Pros

Cons
