Review on Norpro 25MM Stainless Steel Scoop - Ideal for .5 Tablespoon Measurement by Dedra Block

As soon as I opened the box and squeezed the pen a few times to try it out, I knew it wasn't going to be as good as I had hoped based on all the positive reviews. . The piece of metal that pulls the dough out of the scoop pinned about 3/4 arc. And for a long time he did not let go and did not return to his normal position. And it was without anything inside. Simply empty! *cm. my attached photo* I tried to make a bunch of oatmeal cookies with it anyway and it turned out exactly as I thought it would. Because of this piece of metal, the scoop didn't drop the cookie dough 90% of the time. Needless to say I am returning it. I was thinking of buying a scoop of Pampered Chef but didn't want to pay the shipping costs. Now I think I'll do it anyway. There must be some decent scoops based on all the positive reviews, but mine definitely wasn't.
