Review on Premium Heavy Duty X-Ring Chain JTC530X1RNN102RL πŸ”— (530 Series), Nickel-Plated, 102 Links with Connecting Link by Geoff Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

JT is completely stripped of the chain and sprockets.

Left stock front. Just a JT with the added rubber grommet to dampen the vibrations needed without overloading the OEM. Increasing the tooth count from 43 to 44 gave it a bit more throttle without sacrificing too much rpm for my longer rides. I chose JT for sprockets and chain. So far very satisfied, mileage is already 2000km. I tensioned the chain after the first 700 miles as recommended by my mechanic. Went with the X chain after being advised they were better than their O ring counterparts. The steel is gone. It's nice and heavy but lasts a long time compared to aluminum.

Pros
  • Motorcycles and Powersports
Cons
  • Discontinued model
