It didn't last as long as other chains I've bought.

It only lasted about 7 months or about 8000 miles. When I first put it on it had a strange noise, kind of high pitched. It either stuck with time or I just got used to it. I've had to adjust it a few times and now it seems weekly as it seems to stretch quite quickly. It seemed like a really good buy at first, but I think there's certainly a reason for the price. If you don't put a lot of miles on your bike this might be fine, but for the daily commuter or those who put in a lot of miles I'd…

Pros
  • Chain and sprocket sets
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

JT is completely stripped of the chain and sprockets.

Left stock front. Just a JT with the added rubber grommet to dampen the vibrations needed without overloading the OEM. Increasing the tooth count from 43 to 44 gave it a bit more throttle without sacrificing too much rpm for my longer rides. I chose JT for sprockets and chain. So far very satisfied, mileage is already 2000km. I tensioned the chain after the first 700 miles as recommended by my mechanic. Went with the X chain after being advised they were better than their O ring counterparts…

Pros
  • Motorcycles and Powersports
Cons
  • Discontinued model

I was driving a car when the chain on my bike broke. I didn't want to wait for new sprockets in the middle of a ride and didn't want to put the best chain on worn sprockets so I bought this chain to get home safely. This chain works great on old sprockets. I'll keep it until it goes bad, but for $50 I'm very satisfied. I gave 5 stars because of the price, not because I think it's a great chain. I can say that a worn chain doesn't work that well on new sprockets.

Pros
  • Drive
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I am very happy with this

This is a serious high quality chain. Very strong and smooth, impressive. I bought this to replace an aging Tsubaki chain and I've shopped at the big brands. I chose JT because of their reputation in the sprocket industry and also because of the price compared to similar offerings from leading chain manufacturers. I am very happy with this one installed last week, feels great after 500 miles of hard driving. I'll update this review in a few thousand miles if necessary, but for now I'm very…
