The pen itself sucks. Everything else is fun.

First of all, the pen in this set is annoying. It only holds ink at the very tip of the pen, so you'll have to dip it frequently and take a minute to scratch it to get the ink flowing. If you can get this for a pen, look elsewhere. It sucks. I really enjoy drawing with felt-tip pens and I'm lucky enough to already have a good glass pen. I have a set for a fun pen holder/flush bottle and shimmery ink. With water in the base, the flush bottle stays balanced with my prettier, heavier glass pen and I can easily flush the pen and then wipe to change the ink and leave the pen in the bottle without worrying about that it falls or drips. Works as advertised and expected. The inks are wonderful. They don't dry on the pen or clog the nib, they wash off easily and as long as you move them around they shimmer beautifully when they dry and the colors are vibrant. They all come with a rubber stopper in the bottle so you know they won't leak or dry out, but be aware they will squirt when you first remove the stopper. None of the inks are properly color-coded, but most can only be identified by the bottle. Some of the darkest colors will have you guessing if it's black, purple, or blue. Not the worst, although a printed label would be nice. Overall: a bad pen, a good pen holder for a bubbler, good ink and a nice box to keep everything.
