Great for greenhouses

_______Updated October 2020 __________ I have purchased 4 more rolls of tape for the new and improved greenhouse since my original purchase. This winter 2020 is the year of home projects and no going out. Works, withstands snow and rain. It was like this all last winter until spring when I rented a greenhouse. The main thing is that it holds up well, the plastic must be dry. The 2nd part is sealed with both the inner and outer joint/surface where plastic meets. First picture from 2019. 2nd and 3rd 2020. I used some of the broken pieces to make the door for the greenhouse. glued together. :-)_____Original________I bought this product with my hard earned money for my greenhouse. This review contains my own observations about the product. I bought this tape for a small greenhouse I built for my vegetable garden. I wanted the clear tape to help hold the polyurethane parts of the greenhouse together. As a side note I ended up not buying enough and running out of breath and I used regular Gorilla brand black tape and Darn Tough brand black tape in a few places. This clear tape actually sticks to the PU better than the "regular" type of duct tape. The main advantage of transparent tape for greenhouses is its transparency, it allows light to pass through. It's not entirely clear, but it's better than solid grey/black tape. I would call it opaque. The stickiness is just fantastic. All the areas I covered with this tape were nice and tight, the tape didn't come off. Similar areas where I had to use hard tape, some of them peeled off and had to be re-taped. I've been using this tape since around October 2019 and this review was written in January 2020. So I haven't seen Longevity yet, but it helped with up to 2 2 -4 inches of snow/accumulation at the top of the greenhouse, an ice/shower storm buildup at the top, and some fairly strong winds. both inside and outside.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
