We had a selfie stick that came with a remote and the remote failed. So I got them to try and they work fine. We have Pixel 3a phones that are a few months old. Both connected on the first try and both buttons on the remote work to take pictures. The only thing I see is that the strap loop area is very flimsy and can break easily.
