Review on Biopharm Calibration Traceable Reference Standards by Richard Edwar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Will be using this one from now on

Glad I chose this one over the other. I chose this one based on the reviews and because it looks more professional than some of the top brands. There were also no complaints regarding the packaging of this product. The bottles are very strong and very well sealed. They also come in individually sealed pouches in a protective box with hand signed lab papers. It was a fairly easy task. Worked great for checking the calibration of my $10 El Cheapo pH meter (that normal yellow you see everywhere). It has been verified that it has been calibrated correctly. From now on I will use it instead of powder mix for calibration. When using, ensure the solution is at 77°F at the time of calibration. Also note the temperature on the side of the bottle for different pH levels. Mine was too warm, so after pouring it into the container, I stood it on an ice cream box with a thermometer for a few minutes until it reached the right temperature. If you need to heat it, I recommend placing the container in a tub of warm water. To test the meter, I cut a small (clean) ibuprofen bottle in half and pour in about a tablespoon of the solution, just enough to cover the electrode. I did this to use the solution as little as possible and it worked great. I'm sure it's working properly because it confirmed what I already believed to be true.
