Let me start by saying that these are very comfortable shoes! I first encountered them in a shoe store known for low prices. I bought them solely to wear around the house. I have composite siding in most parts of my house and even with a layer of pillows under the floor it's still hard on the back. I wanted a pair of shoes that I could put my paw in and take off easily. The quickest way would be to go to the mailbox and come back. Keep in mind that I wear the Swoosh brand every day so moving to adidas was a big challenge for me. Having bought them locally, I fully understand why adidas makes some of the most comfortable running shoes on the market. This pair is at the top of my comfort list. How high are you asking? High enough I have 5 pairs in different colors of this particular model. 2 pairs for home only and 3 pairs for work and play. An important note, and it is really important. Think twice about rainy days and/or flooded places you might be heading. Unless you plan on applying multiple coats of water repellent spray or tape, I'd leave these little ones at home. Since the upper part is made entirely of fabric, the rain will get wet. In addition, you receive serious comfort from them. Worth the money and the price is low. Even some high-end adidas lines, like the Ultra Boost and Signature lines, look about the same without the double and triple price. Of course, I don't mind spending money on a pair of good running shoes, but if the price is higher than the fact that they're literally being worn to run on dirty bathroom floors, sidewalks, sidewalks, and everywhere else, you wouldn't Go barefoot, why spend a lot of money?
