I bought it for myself first and then got mad because I forgot to give my fiancee's son a birthday present as he was out of state when it was over. He immediately grabbed it and flew away without reading the instructions. It hit the wall and one of the propellers flew off. I was able to find it and put it back, then realized those arches are bumpers (they aren't included in the kit). I don't think he's had a flying propellers problem since, but he still hasn't read the instructions. It's been a few weeks now and he's still playing with it so it should be good. He's usually the kind of kid who hides his face in his phone all weekend, and that has drawn him to the park on a number of occasions. In addition, he has written instructions for use in case his sister decides to try it. Haven't flown it myself but depending on how much it is used and liked I would give it a thumbs up and recommend it. .
