Good quality product but not easy to set up

I bought this antenna as a portable HF antenna and sometimes as a home base. The general build quality was good with the exception of the counterweight and tripod cables. The connectors were flimsy and I had to build them myself to attach to the base of the antenna. The tripod was not very good and the handle broke after the first use (too late to return). The instructions were good, but I had to repeat the assembly a few times. The images did not always match the product delivered, but after several attempts I was able to align the antenna. Now for the tricky part - setting it up wasn't easy - even with the included template which really helped. The seller's tech support was responsive but inconclusive and I found better tech support online and at some ham retailers. It was mostly trial and error to get it down to an acceptable SWR. The main thing was to raise the counterweight above the ground. Although I was able to set it up, the next time I set it up it gave the same marks and errors. I finally broke down and bought an antenna analyzer to set it up and it helped a lot. I plan to replace the counterbalance wires all around with heavier gauge wires and custom connectors and add more to improve performance. Not sure if it is. I would buy it again as I've had more success with the end feed and the dipole I threw over the tree. I think it will do the trick but for the money I was expecting a lot less work.
