Whilst it is certainly not a quality tie you might be difficult to find a better one for the price. Some finishes look visibly stained but are functional and I've had no issues with either of the two I've purchased. I bought navy blue and white. While navy blue looks good, white looks a bit cheap. I would recommend sticking with darker colors or metals.
