Review on Amazon Basics Small 12 Inch Tool Bag: Durable, Wear-Resistant with Strap by Mark Cannon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Handy in the car but too small for field work, pockets need some work

The bag is good if you are looking for an ultra small, versatile bag. The sheer number of pockets is great, but it would be much better if more pockets had velcro closures rather than being fully open. On the outside there is a single pocket with velcro closure which is great but the rest is mesh and has an elastic band that will cinch whatever you have inside as long as it isn't too big or too small. The inner pockets are relatively useless as they are completely open and everything falls out. Another downside is that it tapers pretty quickly at the top, reducing the volume it can hold inside. This is probably due to the fact that the "mouth" of the main compartment opens quite wide, but it also contributes to the rapid narrowing, which reduces the storage space inside. Again, a good back if you're looking for a small and sturdy one. Storage space for tools/accessories. But the reduction in volume from the narrowing of the mouth and useless pockets, especially inside, may make you look elsewhere if that's important to you.
