Review on The Ultimate Hunter Hepburn Indoor Ceiling Fan: 52'' Modern Brass Design with LED Light and Wall Control by Samantha Hervey

Nice fan, quiet and moves more air than expected. Installation was more difficult than installing a fan without a "remote switch" but it didn't make much of a difference. We have an issue with the light flickering every few minutes, even at lower light levels. The lamp we installed is a Sylvania LED that consumes no more than 11 watts of power. This is less than the maximum allowable baseline from what I read on Hunter's support site. I have contacted customer service and if I don't get a response I will be returning this before the returns window closes. Hopefully we can fix that because it's a really good fan. Update: Fan and backlight flickering when turning on and off is a known issue - it's mentioned in reviews on many websites. I was never able to get their system to work even after following their instructions. I found a solution on internet forums and just connected the wires directly from the switches to the fan - threw their remote switch in the trash. Fans and light dimmers are used. Worked like a champ. We liked this fan so much we added a few more - all directly connected.
