Review on 🎨 Napa Table Easel & Book Stand by Art Alternatives by Kristen Simpson

Great art easel!

Bought this to use as a painting easel. I work on a small scale so I didn't need an easel or one that could hold large canvases. However, I was looking for something portable. There are plenty of these easels online - some of them are very bulky and contain a drawer or two that can hold accessories - but I feel it's an unnecessary addition that reduces packability. Since I have so many art supplies, I need something compact rather than bulky. Other easels appeared to be poorly made from wood, which looked rough and was potentially prone to chipping. This easel is smooth and well made - no splinters! In fact, if it had paint on it, it would be pretty easy to clean with soap and water. It also lies perfectly flat which is amazing! I could put it in a big bag when I'm painting outside or going to class, or I could put it on a shelf and hardly realize it's there. If you are a person who likes to stand and draw, you might find this a bad choice. Painting outdoors will be difficult unless you plan on having somewhere to sit. You can sit on a table at home and draw standing up, but if the table is not high enough, your neck will hurt. However, it's worth it if you're new to drawing and want to start small, especially if you need it for a drawing lesson. here before it loses its purpose as a work easel. Anything else and you'll have to hold on to your canvas as you paint to keep it from tipping over and defeating its purpose.
