Review on Improved Morakniv Basic 511 Fixed Blade Knife with Molded Polymer Sheath in Black, Green, and Orange Combo by Lawrence Allison

Good deal for quality

These knives are even sharper than my Mora Robust. I don't know if it's because the blade is thinner or because they are stainless steel. All I know is they are HOT! And 3 of them for $28.? Good quality. One is in my tool bag, one is in my backpack and one is left. They still felt sharp but I wanted to see how sharp they were so I shaved some hair off my leg and they were still sharp. But I prefer knives that are sharper than sharp, so I touched them with a Lansky knife and they cut very thin. Check paper is like air. It was so easy to put on a razor blade. I'll buy a few more for parts and give them away. I can't get over the fact that you can get a knife of this quality for under $10. I have at least 2 dozen knives of all sizes, shapes, qualities and prices, and whenever I need a sharp, durable knife around the house I always grab one of these. Has anyone tried cutting laminate? If so, you know how tough laminate floors are. I have used these knives for shaving, trimming and slicing with no problems. I've found a better way to sharpen them than the Lansky system. Now I use Spderco Sharpmaker and it works great.
