Although the cask itself looks very nice, it is not the best choice for those looking to age spirits or cocktails. If you are just looking for something cool to decorate your home bar, this is a great option. If you are a bar owner/manager/cocktail enthusiast looking to add aged spirits or cocktails to your menu, skip this option and check out Oak Barrels Ltd. I have just bought several barrels from various retailers and am very happy with Oak Barrels Ltd. There is a plastic/aluminum bag in the trunk to keep your liquids out of contact with the tree. Instead, you have to buy wood pellets and burn them yourself, then put them in a barrel. Upon closer inspection, the seller noticed this, but I didn't see it when I first bought it.
