I bought these for a dump truck that already had the standard 4" holes. The signature truck headlights that I took out were firmly seated in the hole, just like you want them. These headlights would fall out of a hole on a bumpy road. Very cool. They will be a great light when you cut your own hole. They are not very impressive in terms of brightness, probably on par with ordinary clear light. (Not LEDs). I won't be returning because I'm a pack rat and all pack rats think they're using what's later in the future.
