Review on BicycleStore® Universal Aluminum Bicycle Mountain by Black Miller

I was looking for a set of metal calipers to replace the original plastic base with metal levers that came with my son's bike. This product was so cheap that I decided to try it and compare it to the set that came with his bike, which consisted of metal handlebars but a hard plastic clip. The original brake levers of course broke in the plastic clamp on one of his ghost rides and crashed on the bike rides he loves so much. The metal substitutes have held up well so far. Installation was easy, but the cable adjustment screw threads could have been a little smoother and a tighter fit as well. They're a bit flimsy if stretched too far to make adjustments, so it's better to adjust the cable instead, which isn't always preferable for minor adjustments to get a feel for braking, let alone that Time it takes to make adjustments. Overall not bad considering the price paid.
