Product works well but remote control stops working after 2 weeks. Thought it was the battery, I searched for this custom sized battery for over a week and finally ordered it online. With 10 new batteries, the remote control still does not work. So if you stick the "brains" of the kit in the engine bay as suggested, you're in for an adventure if the remote doesn't work. I'm sure someone knows there's a problem with the remote and/or the kit's "brain" jittering and not processing the signal from the remote. I'm not the first, which means the return period should be longer. Now that I have new batteries in the remote, I'm pretty sure the problem is that the kit's brain isn't processing or receiving the remote's signal. signal for the "brain" to process.
