The conductor material is high quality, low price and if you need a flexible/manoeuvrable cable, this type of welding cable is for you. How flexible is it? Well, about 15ft 2ha, both red/black, were coiled like coil springs, they were no wider than my arm in diameter and about 9 inches tall! So I sleeved the cable in an Insultherm braid to give it more abrasion resistance and thermal protection, and then layered a red stretch braid over it to add a bit of visual appeal and also to draw attention to its position when I'm doing the route changed. Running cables through places that aren't as common and on the off chance a workshop is doing work on my car should help prevent accidental damage as it's hard to see. it is necessary?. no, probably not, but i like to do things meticulously in a compulsive way, the added protection is peace of mind, and i look great too!
