Review on AboveTEK Rotating Brackets Horizontal Vertical by Richard Alemayehu

This is a great mount. That's easy. We installed it in the kitchen to hold the Samsung Galaxy Tab E. It works well. That's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.* The larger mounting bracket had some issues with the tabs snapping onto the bracket during assembly. I had to squeeze my fingers to pull the tabs out; or at least one of them. The smaller mount had no problems. So maybe I just got one that was a little off. I shouldn't have gone back because I still don't think I'll ever have to take the brace off. However, it was just an annoyance. Especially when you consider that if only one of the staples had to be removed then why did it have to be the one I had to use! In any case, once installed, it seems reliable enough. * Unfortunately, once screwed in, the main bracket cannot be rotated to slightly adjust its height. In my case I had to mount it in a metal plate on the wall. My pilot holes were pretty good, but I ended up with maybe a 1/32 inch (or less) tilt in the main mount. Well that's my fault to be sure. And it's barely noticeable. But I notice.. And that would be a big problem to fix. The bracket part itself rotates 90 degrees, but there's no way to adjust the bracket itself even a little. The lesson is when you are installing the main part of the bracket, to be REALLY accurate when screwing.. And I recommend pre-drilling. Although it can be difficult to drill through metal, it might be a lot easier in drywall or wood it a bit annoying. You can rotate this thing in any direction, it only seems to move in one direction. And it can be annoying to have it always plugged in, as you can't just walk back and forth (and therefore might have to unplug it to turn it on). lower alignment to another.) Overall I like it. It's fairly low, can be tilted and is great as I use it in the kitchen to check the weather, recipes and the typical quick family info without worrying about a bulkier laptop.
