Review on 🏠 Sanyo CRSR-10 Sirius Satellite Receiver Dual Kit for Car and Home by Fred Vazquez

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It had everything you needed to hook up: a car kit and a home kit. He was thrilled to hear Howard Stern again when Stern returned a few weeks ago. The problems started when we started looking for a radio after Christmas. As far as I know Sirius equipment has been overhauled. However, we have learned that Sanyo has discontinued EVERYTHING related to this product. That should have been our first sign. Item DEAD after 2 weeks of use. All it will do when you turn it on is display the Sirius logo and beep. We thought they were antennas, so we moved them around the house. no So I called Sanya. Sanyo sold all warranty information to Sirius. I called Sirius. Went from Sirius tech support to returns/exchanges and finally to their warranty department. I had to fax all my purchase receipts (despite the fact that I ordered the unit through their website) and they replaced it. Unfortunately, since Sanyo has stopped production, they no longer have Sanyo receivers. So we get the Sirius One, which is for car use only and not for home use.
