I used the comfort zone without noticing the difference. Since I've moved I decided to try the original to see how it works. I placed it in a room where my cat will be quarantined while moving and adjusting to a new home. It's hard to say 100% if it's a diffuser or if it's softening with age, but I will say that for the first few days that we were in the new house, she explored other rooms, got scared and started to hiss, but so soon as she ran back. With the diffuser in the safety of her room, she rolled over and purred like she hadn't been startled a second ago. She's getting used to the house, but is still most comfortable in a room with a diffuser. She gets 4 stars for that. Actually I'd say it's 3.5 because this thing doesn't last 30 days at all. I hooked it up the day we moved on October 12th and had to replace it on October 25th. That's a clear minus, because the Comfort Zone always lasted about 30 days, and I was able to get two refills for the price of 1 Ceva Feliway. . I'll probably keep using this brand because I think it works, but I wish it lasted 30 days like it says.
