I've never owned a shoe like this so maybe it's my fault for not living up to expectations, but I agree that these shoes are not suitable for casual shoes. The sock-like woven material is comfortable for a short time, but after wearing them every day for months, I found that the lack of support they give your feet actually made them sore than regular shoes, and my knees started to hurt . I think they're great if you don't wear them for a very long time, but I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for shoes that you can wear 10 hours a day.
