Network value for money; no anchors. Poorly designed top T-bar anchors that mount right in the center of the recessed rail used to open and secure the load curtain. I realized a long time ago that the easiest way is not always the best. And the design and placement of these hooks prove it. Most top trim levels of the $35,000 SUV come with tonneau covers, which are optional on other models. So it's reasonable to assume that owners might want to use them without much frustration by letting them navigate the channel behind a hook. Well, it's not horizontal, vertical or otherwise. So I gave it an overall rating of 4, which is 5 stars for the net itself and 1 star for the grip alone, as there weren't any additional headlines for design or durability. I was happy with the mesh size, design and construction and found a solution where you can leave the high quality net and hammer in the anchors and for a few bucks more buy a cheap net and throw it away but better designed and use stronger anchors. And now my Rav is equipped with better meshes as well as anchors (i.e. glue on and then attach with a screwdriver and 1" screw for another 1 minute). Now I can quickly deploy and store the cargo curtain as the manufacturer intended, without the hindrance of an aftermarket anchor. And this combination now passes my "keeps a bowling ball on a slope when the hatch is open" test. 02/24 EDIT - Almost 2 months in use and the mesh works fine. So ok I just bought another one for my son Rav 4. Just for fun I tried the T-Anchors in a vertical position and found that they only hold the top of the T-Bars and pop out or break when exposed become too much weight for the slope test. So I used the remaining two of the four anchors from a cheap $10 net to give my son the same strong, non-obstructive anchorage. rav. As always this net is excellent quality and well worth the premium price compared to others, even if you decide to spend the extra cash to upgrade the included anchors.
