Review on Jeppesen JS621214 Black Captain Pilot Flight Bag for Optimal Organization and Convenience by Michael Godo

Wouldn't buy again - large but that's it

Given the price and the Jeppesen name you would expect this to be the perfect case. Not so. It's a cheap Chinese bag called Jep. Jep has declined sharply in the overall quality of goods over the years. Very bad Good: - It's big; You can put a small child in it. Bad: - Very little padding. Your radio/headset is very poorly protected and WILL be smashed/damaged if you drop this case. Does he have a sheet of tissue paper for $100? Unacceptable.- The floor tends to get wet. There's no protection, not even little rubber feet. Putting it on a damp surface will get your items wet. For over $100 the floor couldn't be rubberized? Unacceptable. The interior is a complete mess. Yes, it's huge, but the included dividers attach to tiny Velcro strips and never stay put. Essentially, give up trying to break up a large roster and keep it reasonably organized. But of course it's big. Conclusion: A cheap $$ bag at a premium price. You can get the exact same item at half price in the same pilot stores without the Jep logo. This is probably also made by the same company. There's a better choice out there. avoid it
