I have very thick wavy hair and this is the only hair dryer that straightens my hair. I don't like using flat irons because they dry out my hair, so this blow dryer alone gives my hair a smooth and shiny look, I don't even have to apply serum when I'm done blow drying. I also like the color red as for the color that wears off as other people complain, I haven't had this problem but maybe it's because when I use a hair dryer and put it on when I straighten my hair, I put them on a towel and keep them in my own clothes on a soft cloth so nothing touches them. However, if you have had this for over a year, it may scratch slightly while the hair dryer is running. I really don't care if the colors peel off.
