Everything looked good on first place. I was able to rotate the clamp 360 degrees, allowing the gimbal to move in any direction. It performed much better than the 4 other mounts I tried. My difficulty stems from the fact that I have vertical mounts and textured vinyl on the dash where the adhesive doesn't fill in the natural gaps. I don't want to use a windshield mount due to the summer and the mounted sun visor. vertical. I put my phone in it and it holds up great. I took it off and it came off easily. I decided to do this a couple of times, still pulling down to remove it to avoid pushing the product backwards and pulling it out of the vent. Well I noticed that it actually moved when it came out of the vent. I pushed it down to fill a gap and something went wrong here. The metal clip that puts pressure on the clasp has slipped. I could have reassembled it with some fiddling, but that meant the rubberized parts had come loose. After 5-10 minutes of fiddling I had the parts together4 and the sticky rubber parts in place. Unfortunately, once these rubber pieces come loose, they don't stick as they did after they were made. My goal is to put some gorilla glue on it tomorrow. I will update with the results.
