Better be good for mats

I spent 1 hour 5 minutes installing these mats. The process is actually very easy if you watch the installation video (the guide isn't very good) and should have taken 20 minutes max if I didn't have any issues during the installation. At the same time, the mats used in the video are different from the ones I received. Mine doesn't wrap around the seat tracks in front or behind the seats. Because of this difference, the ones in the video look better. Kraft paper is included to help with installation. Everything is fine from the driver's side, mostly looks good. The passenger side was a different story. I had to install it 6 times from the start to try and get it fully flush. It never happened. As you can see from my photos it has a part on the right side that is not flat and the whole setup will end up looking cheap and poor. On the left it doesn't stay high enough to be flush with the center console. The back seat was very easy and took 2 minutes, although the red underside is mostly hidden by the top black floor mat making it look like a regular black mat. The black floor mats (front and rear) look very cheap. They remind me of the regular floor mats that most cars come with from the factory. Sure, they're waterproof and easy to clean, but they still look the same and ruin the experience. All in all, once installed, anyone who takes a quick look will find they look great and will be impressed. However, when they start inspecting things, they will notice problems, forcing me to immediately remove the kit and go back to my regular blankets. The issues make this seem like cheap generic seat covers that cover the seat but don't fit properly and look terrible except on the floor.

Pros
  • Many will
Cons
  • Not as good as written
