Measuring cup is great for separating fat from other liquids. I love him for that. But the top of the filter is very snug on mine, making it difficult to remove once it's in place. Now imagine that while working in the kitchen everything got a little greasy and you try to remove the lid to pour out the grease. And what happened to me, when I finally opened the lid, the measuring cup flew out of my hand and I had 1 cup of turkey fat on the kitchen floor and in the cupboards. It was a huge mess that took me about 45 minutes to clean up. The top should be easily removable (unscrew? snap open? made of flexible material, not hard plastic?) to prevent this disaster.
