Review on Leather Beveller Professional Creaser Trimming by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This will usually get the job done, but it's not great.

You get what you pay for. It will have beveled edges, but I've had a lot of trouble digging or tearing it instead of neatly trimming. Besides, without many wings, it is easy to slip off on both sides of the cutting area, digging in and hurting your skin. Not a bad tool if you just want to try your hand at leather work, but I moved on pretty quickly and bought a much nicer (albeit much more expensive) edger from Weaver, and know the difference between day and night. If you're really just trying this out, I'd suggest just gently beveling with an X-Acto blade until you're sure you want to invest in better tools.

Pros
  • Strength
Cons
  • Some little things
