Review on πŸ’¦ High-Performance Rio 26HF HyperFlow Water Pump - 1590 GPH by Beth Brooks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bigger Brother with gusto

I bought a couple of smaller Rios a few months ago and was amazed at how well they work and head over heels. and need something with more flow. It has the same flavor and pushing ability; does not whimper when a few feet of head is placed on it. However, it is not a small pump. Can lay out and does not save. There are many brands of pumps that will simply not pump water unless you have near-zero head. They have a different design than impeller blades and don't clog easily and can actually push water. I use large homemade basket pre-filters to keep my pond inlets from clogging and I love the Rio line. At 4-5 feet, it has no shipping problems at all. I had to add some PVC fittings to accommodate the black (larger diameter) irrigation pipe for the drain, but it was easy to do. Of all the pumps I've bought over the years, this is my third Rio and I was not disappointed with the money I spent on the Rio.
