Review on 🚴 Puroma Comfort Bike Seat: Dual Spring Suspension, Waterproof Leather Saddle with Memory Foam - Universal Fit for Men and Women, Indoor and Outdoor Biking by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So good that I ordered a second one.

I've tried MANY seats. It's one! I just received and installed it. It's so perfect that I immediately ordered a backup in case this one dies. At this price it wasn't easy. After FINALLY finding one that works for me, I don't want to be without it. My needs were: A seat that doesn't hurt my ass. A seat that is actually SOFT and comfortable. A seat that doesn't put pressure on my prostate and other parts of my body. A seat that compensates for my bike's lack of rear suspension (no hard hits on the lower back). This one seat met ALL of these requirements. This seat is SOFT. I weigh 170 pounds. I have multiple foam seats. They're all too hard. This one is SOFT. Did I mention it? It's almost like sitting on a cushion. When I tested it I wasn't even wearing padded jodhpurs. Didn't need her. I stayed in the seat and overcame some hard bumps. The springs did their job well. My back never felt anything. My "sensitive stuff" immediately felt better. I can't say enough about this seat. ONE PROBLEM I didn't really care: The reviews stating that the seat rails will NOT fit a standard seat rail clamp are correct. The rails are too wide apart by about 1/8 to 3/16. I've read on here that people have used vises, hammers and even a sledgehammer to force them closer together. I used a vise and gently squeezed them together a little, then checked the fit, squeezed again, checked again until they were the right width and the vise held them flush to each other. Was it annoying? Damn, I ordered second place! last thought Along with this $17.99 seat, I ordered two more for about $70 each. None of them came close to meeting all of my requirements. I feel like I got away with something. giggle
