UPDATE: We used to take our dog to the reservoir on a hot day and it was nicer outside than inside. It really doesn't cover the sun very well. I was very annoyed that I could not find an escape route from the sun. The material is so thin/transparent and you feel like you are being cooked inside. It's definitely not worth the money. It works well when placed under a tree. We weren't sure at first, the picture looks like it's too big for 2 people, but we were pleasantly surprised :) This sun visor can "stretch" so you can make it tall and narrow (my husband is 6ft tall and could stand indoors) which is perfect for 2 people, a dog and more comfortable, or you can "stretch" it and it will be lower but accommodates more people. We gave 3 starts initially because it is not easy to assemble. The idea is simple, but the work is not very. That extra window blind they advertise is good for 2 sides not all sides and it's quite hot underneath. So when there is no wind, it gets hot. Park a lot and enjoy it.
