Replacement Mower Deck Spindle Assembly

This thing is failing in our less than lush 3 acre yard. From time to time the bearing burns out or the "star" of the blade engagement wears out and needs to be replaced. I've gotten pretty good at that; I no longer use self tapping screws, instead I drill holes for the screws and use a nut and bolt (with the nut in the hex socket). This makes it much easier to remove them on the next replacement. I like these devices because the price is right and they seem to be just as durable as more expensive devices.
