Stens 285-041 Spindle Assembly for 🔧 Husqvarna 532143651: Durable and Reliable Replacement Part Review

The bearings literally fell out of every assembly until they were bolted to the mower deck. Luckily I had a friend who helped me. One assembly was not as pictured. It had no pre-made screws or holes as I specifically purchased this model. It's no fun living 17 miles from the nearest hardware store. To be fair, they're quiet, which is how new bearings should be.

These things take a beating in our less than lush 3 acre yard. From time to time the bearing burns out or the "star" of the blade engagement wears out and needs to be replaced. I've gotten pretty good at that; I no longer use self tapping screws, instead I drill holes for the screws and use a nut and bolt (with the nut in the hex socket). I used 3 of these spindles to rebuild the deck on my 50 inch AYP mower. They are exact replacements for the old parts and I was able to use factory (higher quality) screws with them. The spindles are supplied with their own bolts. But I haven't used it. I only have 3 hours for you. But so far they are great! It was easy to take them out. Use a little PBlaster on all of the bolts for 30 minutes, then lightly tap all of the bolts with a hammer. All the screws came out with no problem and I didn't
