Will definitely fit the original Xbox. However, you have to be creative with how you stack it. There is an easy way to do this so the cable doesn't get twisted into a bundle. However, this cable is cheap. The blue connector broke off the end of the cable on my first try when I tried to disconnect it from the IDE->SATA adapter. This is probably only good for one install. If you absolutely must remove it after installation, grasp the plug from the top and bottom (the longer plug face, not the black, clip-like parts on the sides). These clip pieces are incredibly cheap and pop up instantly.
