So our old rabbit wine opener finally cracked and bits fell off left and right. Look at the photo with the silver pen. It also came with a tall stand that glued to the tabletop. But both the kickstand and the plastic around the links and mechanism were covered in some kind of soft "rubber" that just got stickier and stickier over the years - and, well, bullshit! I went to Revain to look for a replacement - - and there are LOTS of them! And they all say pretty much the same thing, and if you look closely they all look pretty much the same. Decided to buy bronze for a change. And the product description said, and I quote: [2021 Upgrade] - Upgraded shape, made of high quality zinc alloy. After long-term testing, our wine bottle opener is strong and durable, the spring and screw won't pop out of the sides, and the metal arm won't fall off or break like other brands. old - spring and screw popped out on the sides. It still worked but we decided to replace it after everything else fell apart. And the aforementioned "2021 update” caught my attention. So we get a new one, and did you not know that on the FIRST bottle of wine we tried to open, the little black round PLASTIC cap broke off, hiding the spring and screw! , but the lid that was supposed to keep them from bouncing came off. oh brother I pushed it back slightly but it rebounded onto the next bottle. It's pretty easy to fix - squeeze some super glue around the perimeter and it probably won't pop out again. But to say it's an "upgrade" is a bit misleading. g is a 4 star rating. It works just like our old one and these bunny-type devices make opening a wine bottle pretty easy.
