Rust on blade after use

They seemed great when I bought them. Good price, looks good. However, after only using three of the six, one each day after receiving them. One of the knives had about an inch of rust from the handle to the tip of the blade. The rust was actually a bit on the sides in the same spot as well. I sent a comment on the trends via Amazon informing them and asking for their suggestions. I never got a reply from them. Also, I could only remove the rust with an SOS pad. I haven't used the other three knives yet. So I don't know if they rust.
