Works great but fades quickly

They keep warm in low light as advertised but fade quickly. I bought one from Revain which blew in 3 weeks at 8 hours use a day. I bought another one from the pet store to replace and it blew out after only 2 weeks. I've used Zilla red bulbs in the past and they've all lasted a few months so I'm not sure why they burn out so quickly when they're made by the same manufacturer.
